The Banpo Bridge Moonlight Rainbow Fountain, also known as the Jamsu Bridge Moonlight Rainbow Fountain, is registered in the Guinness World Records as “the world’s longest bridge fountain.” The Moonlight Rainbow Fountain operates only from April to October, with fountain shows running five times a day during the off-peak season and six times during the peak season. Each show lasts for 20 minutes, so it’s a good idea to check the schedule before your visit.

The Banpo Moonlight Rainbow Fountain, recognized as the world’s longest bridge fountain, was registered in the Guinness World Records in 2008. It spans 1,140 meters (570m × 2) and reaches a height of 20 meters. With a total of 380 nozzles, it pumps up 190 tons of Han River water per minute, creating a spectacular nighttime display with colorful lights and diverse music.

Directions to Banpo Moonlight Rainbow Fountain

To visit the Banpo Moonlight Rainbow Fountain, you can head to either the Banpo Bridge or the Jamsu Bridge. The first floor of the Banpo Bridge is known as the Jamsu Bridge. From May 12, 2024, to June 24, 2024, every Sunday, the Jamsu Bridge will be transformed into a pedestrian-only zone for the “Car-Free Jamsu Bridge Walking Festival.”
